‘The Masked Singer’ Recap: Queen of Hearts Named Season 6 Winner
Reading Time: 3 minutes
The Masked Singer Season 6 returned on Wednesday night for the grand finale, as Group A winner Bull went up against Group B winner Queen of Hearts. At the end of the night, Queen of Hearts earned the Golden Mask trophy, and both contestants were unmasked.
Bull and Queen of Hearts each sang two songs during the finale — an acoustic cover and an “all-out showstopper.” The judges, audience, and superfans voted for their favorites, but it was a tough decision. Judge Ken Jeong described it as “the ultimate entertainer versus the ultimate singer.”
Host Nick Cannon said it was one of the closest votes in the show’s history. In the end, Queen of Hearts was named the winner, and she was unmasked as singer-songwriter Jewel. Runner-up Bull was unmasked as Broadway star and choreographer Todrick Hall.
Queen of Hearts Unmasked as Jewel, Wins ‘The Masked Singer’ Season 6
Queen of Hearts’ first performance of the night was a stripped-down cover of “What’s Going On” by Marvin Gaye. Later on, she pulled out all the stops for a powerful rendition of “Firework” by Katy Perry. As you’d expect from a performance of that song, the stage was filled with pyrotechnics.
The judges were in awe of Queen of Hearts’ amazing voice. “What a way to end this show,” Jenny McCarthy said, telling Queen of Hearts she had “the voice of an angel, the voice of a healer” and predicting that she would win the whole season.
Queen of Hearts shared that her experience on the show was “magical,” and said she wants to be a “spark of inspiration” for anyone who may need it. At the end of the show, she was announced as The Masked Singer Season 6 winner and unmasked as Jewel.
Jenny McCarthy, Robin Thicke, and Nicole Scherzinger all guessed that it was Jewel before she was unmasked. However, none of them had Jewel as their first impression guess, so they didn’t earn any points toward the Golden Ear trophy.
Jewel said she loved being able to have people react to her voice and nothing else. She shared that it reminded her of playing in coffee shops when she was first starting out.

Todrick Hall is the Season 6 Runner Up
Bull started the show off with an energetic performance of “You Gotta Be” by Des’ree. He even did a split! Later, he got emotional with a cover of “Invisible” by Hunter Hayes, who performed as Astronaut in Season 3. The performance brought Nicole Scherzinger to tears, saying it “struck a couple chords.”
Bull was also in tears, sharing how much the song’s lyrics meant to him. He added that performing on The Masked Singer has changed his life, explaining that performing in the Bull costume has made him “feel more confident than I ever have.”
At the end of the night, Bull removed his mask to reveal Todrick Hall. Scherzinger was the only judge to correctly guess that it was him. She had him as her first impression guess, saying she “knew right away,” as the two are good friends. That earned her another point.
Scherzinger ended the night winning the Golden Ear trophy with three points. Jeong came in second place with two points, while Thicke and McCarthy each had one point each.
