It’s no secret that Jimmy Fallon totally tore up the stage on The Voice season 23 and everyone is talking about it. Since his mischievous prank was so iconic, let’s look back at some other celebrities that have “auditioned” for The Voice as a prank.

The Best Blind Audition Pranks on The Voice, Ranked

5. Adam Levine

Although this blind audition was far from a prank, it had to be included in the list. In 2015, Maroon Five frontman departed his red chair to sing “Tiny Dancer” by Elton John. Levine wasn’t fooling anyone, but it was truly a treat to be able to hear him sing this cover.

4. Chrissy Teigen

In The Voice season 16, John Legend’s wife Chrissy Teigen came to The Voice stage to roast each of the coaches. Even though the model didn’t sing, this was quite a funny prank. She received a “four chair turn” since each coach turned once they heard something they liked.

3. Kathie Lee, Hoda and Kris Jenner

The Voice season 14 saw probably the strangest prank to date when two anchors from TODAY auditioned for show… with Kris Jenner? To this day, I still have so many questions, was this a prank on the coaches or Carson Daly? How did they get Kris Jenner involved? How did Kelly Clarkson guess it was them?

2. Jimmy Fallon

As soon as The Voice season 23 began, the show teased the arrival of a very special celebrity guest. At the end of the show’s second Blind Audition episode, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon host, Jimmy Fallon took the stage to do an impression of Michael McDonald’s “I Keep Forgettin’ (Every Time You’re Near).”

1. Neil Patrick Harris

By far, the most ultimate The Voice blind audition prankster was Neil Patrick Harris. He went in a disguise to interview the coaches and actually audition. It was so clear that none of the coaches knew what was going on until Harris revealed his identity. This was truly on the level of Howie Mandel pranking fans on AGT.
