‘The Bellas Podcast’ Scores DWTS Bond Night, Talks Everything LeAnn Rimes
Reading Time: 2 minutes
In the latest episode of The Bellas Podcast, Nikki and Brie Bella got the chance to talk to singer-songwriter LeAnn Rimes. Their conversation revolved around Rime’s latest studio album, god’s work. Meanwhile, the sisters also shared their opinion regarding the recently concluded James Bond Night of Dancing With The Stars.
LeAnn Rimes Explains Latest Studio Album
Recalling her rebellious streak during her early days, LeAnn Rimes believed that her grit has been her “asset” in the business. Such brave spirit drove her to reach her 25th anniversary in the music industry.
Rimes’ feminism wasn’t hidden in her studio album. According to her, god’s work felt like a “coming out” piece.
“As women, we’re told to be small and many ways. You know, to be quiet,” she said. “And for me, especially for this new album, there’s anything but quiet.”
Being judged simply because of her gender before, Nikki Bella said that she felt celebrated with the album. In the fight against the harsh treatment of the society to women, the Bellas knew that god’s work is an act towards empowerment.
In addition, Rimes wrote god’s work with the intention to “explore the duality of life.” Growing up as a Baptist, Rimes had felt the frustration of running away from her creator. With her religious record, she reclaims the word of God and hopes for others to do so as well.
The sisters were evidently touched by Rimes’ album, being spiritual themselves. They then congratulated Rimes for releasing such a record like god’s work.
Bella Sisters Scores Dancing With The Stars Contestants
Nikki and Brie Bella also discussed Bond night on Dancing With The Stars. When Nikki asked Brie who would she give a perfect 10 to, she was quick to mention Wayne Brady, Charli D’Amelio, and Gabby Windey. In turn, the sisters totally agreed that Wayne stood out the most in the latest episode.
“I would definitely give my perfect 10 to Wayne and Witney. They stole the show. They closed the night exactly how you wanna close the night,” Nikki said. “He is blowing me away with his ballroom dancing. His form, the feeling is very elegant.”
Additionally, the sisters discussed the contestants they want to deduct points from. Trevor Donovan and Emma Slater were Brie’s favorites, but she thought that the pair didn’t do well at the time. She somehow blamed it to the music, though.
For the two, Heidi D’Amelio and Daniel Durant kept improving, while they believe that Cheryl Ladd shouldn’t have gone home yet. On the other hand, both sisters commented that Sam Champion and Vinny Guadagnino are not growing in the competition.
