Terry Crews first made waves on Twitter when he posted about “black supremacy.” He had a lot of people shaking their heads trying to figure out exactly what he meant. Now, Terry is making waves yet again, this time tweeting that he doesn’t want Black Lives Matter to turn into Black Lives Better.
If you are a child of God, you are my brother and sister. I have family of every race, creed and ideology.
Terry Crews Causes Controversy With Black Lives Matter Tweet
In the tweet that was recently posted, Terry said “If you are a child of God, you are my brother and sister. I have family of every race, creed and ideology. We must ensure #blacklivesmatter doesn’t morph into #blacklivesbetter.” The tweet already has close to 6,000 replies, most of which are people who are completely outraged by Terry. The Black Lives Matter movement has been sweeping across the world influencing protests that call for change after George Floyd’s death. One notable reply from lawyer Exavier Pope says “Terry Crews, income, education, technology gaps will take TRILLIONS and DECADES to flip to even getting remotely close to equality. Look at the ownership of our corporations, infrastructure. Time value of money on investments on backs of institutionalized racism. You’re ignorant.”
Other Twitter Users Continued To Weigh In On Terry’s BLM Tweet
“Terry Crews must remember that it was a white man that grabbed his d*ck in front of his white friends and not one of us. Keep that in mind when trying to sing Kumbaya through tweets and denouncing #BlackLivesMatter” said one Twitter user. This is a reference to when Crews opened up about being sexually assaulted at a Hollywood party.
Others simply said that Terry should keep his “f*cking mouth shut.”
Terry Crews and JK Rowling should start a therapy group for people who could have lived out their years rich and beloved by the entire world if they had just kept their fucking mouths shut

“Terry Crews is really acting like black people are asking to be treated better than others. We’re asking for EQUALITY at a bare minimum. I know he got some strong calf muscles because the tap dancing is nonstop.” said another.

Another Twitter user called him a “clown.” Point blank, people are not too happy with the America’s Got Talent host and his choice of words in the wake of the Black Lives Matter movement and the deaths of several black people at the hands of police.
The Controversy Began With Terry’s Tweet About ‘Black Supremacy’
Earlier in June, Terry tweeted “Defeating White supremacy without White people creates Black supremacy. Equality is the truth. Like it or not, we are all in this together.” Crews instantly received a lot of backlash almost immediately after the tweet was posted. Several people interpreted it as him saying black supremacy is very prominent, especially right now in the wake of the death of George Floyd.
He went on to make an appearance on The Talk to clarify his comments and said he had no regrets. “I can’t really regret it, because I really want the dialogue to come out. Maybe there’s another term that might be better — we’re separatist or elitist…but the thing is, I’ve experienced supremacy even growing up,” he said on the show. And still, people were not a fan of this choice of words from the America’s Got Talent host or the fact that he was doubling down on the controversial tweet.
