Taylor Swift Makes Surprise Appearance on ‘DWTS’ Ahead of Next Week’s Tribute

Taylor Swift made a surprise appearance on Tuesday night’s new episode of Dancing with the Stars, as she shared her excitement about next week’s tribute to her music. The singer can’t be there in person, but she sent a video message.

Taylor Swift Appears on DWTS Ahead of Tribute Episode

Tuesday marked Whitney Houston Night on Season 32 of DWTS. During the show, host Alfonso Ribeiro introduced a “special message” from Swift herself. In a video on the screen, the pop star appeared in an outfit she wears on her Eras Tour.

“I can’t wait to see Dancing with the Stars‘ celebration of my eras next week,” Swift said in the clip. “I wish I could be there with you guys, but I’m on tour in Brazil. But I will be there in spirit, and I’ll be watching.”

During next week’s “Celebration of Taylor Swift,” the remaining six couples will be dancing to some of the singer’s biggest hits. Sitting on the panel as a guest judge will be Mandy Moore, who worked on Swift’s Eras Tour as a choreographer.

Swift is currently on the South American leg of her Eras Tour. Last week, she performed in Buenos Aires, Argentina. This weekend, she’ll be in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, before heading to São Paulo next week.

Which Celebrities Are Still in the Competition?

The competition for DWTS Season 32 has been narrowed down to just six celebrities and their professional partners. On Tuesday night, Brady Bunch star Barry Williams and his partner Peta Murgatroyd were eliminated.

That leaves Alyson Hannigan and Sasha Farber, Ariana Madix and Pasha Pashkov, Charity Lawson and Artem Chigvintsev, Harry Jowsey and Rylee Arnold, Jason Mraz and Daniella Karagach, and Xochitl Gomez and Val Chmerkovskiy.

The show has yet to reveal which celebrities will be dancing to which songs. Tune in next Tuesday night at 8/7c on ABC or Disney+ to see it all go down.
