Sword Swallower Auzzy Blood Freaks Out the ‘AGT’ Judges This Season

One of the edgiest acts auditioning for America’s Got Talent this season is sword swallower Auzzy Blood. In photos from this week’s episode, judge Howie Mandel can be seen either pushing a sword into his throat or pulling it out.
AGT Contestant Auzzy Blood Is a ‘Walking Freak Show’
In his Instagram bio, Auzzy calls himself a “Walking Freak Show.” The performer started a YouTube channel in 2015 featuring dangerous stunts, including sticking a drill up his nose and putting his face in a pile of broken glass.
He also started sword swallowing and performing at events in Las Vegas and with the Hellzapoppin Circus Sideshow Revue. As part of his act, Auzzy wears some terrifying makeup that gives him a cut on his head and a Joker-like mouth.
“As soon as I start to apply the makeup, I go into this mindset of getting into character,” Auzzy said in 2020. “It’s like something that takes over, but I let it take over. And at the same time, I’m in complete control of what I experience.”
Auzzy has over 12,000 followers on Instagram. He frequently posts photos on his account with his girlfriend Cat Black, whom he calls his muse and his “ghoulish love.”

Auzzy Promises to Freak Out the Judges
Auzzy recently teased his upcoming America’s Got Talent audition on Instagram, writing, “This Tuesday July 26th don’t miss my Freaky Face on National Television!” He added, “you won’t wanna miss how intensely I freak out the Judges Especially @howiemandel.”
On his Instagram, Auzzy has posted videos of himself swallowing swords in crazy positions. In a recent clip, he hung upside down with the sword in his throat, and in another video, he rolled down a hill with the sword inside him.
He also recently collaborated with AGT alums Emily England and Anna of Deadly Games, giving him some serious Got Talent street cred. If Auzzy ends up making it to the next round, he’ll have plenty of tricks up his sleeve to freak the judges out even more.
