Summer of Talent: ‘AGT’ and ‘Songland’ Both Perform Better Than Last Week for NBC

NBC is continuing to dominate Tuesday nights with its talent show lineup. But how exactly did America’s Got Talent and Songland do in the ratings this week?

America’s Got Talent got a 1.6 this week, up a tenth from their previous episode. They also hit a season high in viewership with an audience of 10 million. That’s nearly double the number of viewers than the second-most-watch program of the night – a rerun of NCIS on CBS – had, with an audience of 5.51 million.

Songland was the second-highest rated show of the night with a 0.9. This rating tied with that of the previous episode, but the audience grew a bit (last week the show saw 4.15 million viewers) tying with episode 2’s viewership of 4.53 million and being the third-most-watched program Tuesday evening.

NBC absolutely crushed the competition once again, as it has done every week with these back-to-back talent shows.
