Simon Cowell Says Tomorrow’s ‘America’s Got Talent’ Premiere Will Be Thrilling

We here at Talent Recap are super psyched that one of our favorite shows we cover is coming back tomorrow: America’s Got Talent. Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Mel B, Howie Mandel, and Tyra Banks are back to showcase some great and bizarre acts. Simon says that we can expect some really exciting stuff.
One thing that has existed on other iterations of the Got Talents but hasn’t really been show much in the American version is scary stuff. According to Simon, we can expect that and more tomorrow. He said,
“There’s one act in particular. Wow! I’ve never seen anything like this. It was like Linda Blair decided to audition from The Exorcist. She doesn’t talk. It’s one of the weirdest, scariest acts we’ve ever had on the show.”
I’m intrigued. I have to wonder what that could mean. Strange acts can go far on AGT. Just look at Tapeface or Darci Lynne. Think about it, her act is pretty weird. It’s a little girl singing with a puppet. As someone who does that professionally I can tell you it’s definitely strange. When asked about the “champions” edition of the show coming this fall he simply said,
“It’s like the Olympics of Got Talent. All the good acts are going to come together for one week and have the ultimate world competition. It’s something we’ve wanted to do for a long time. I think it’s going to be amazing.”
