Shin Lim Dazzles With Card Magic Once Again in Sneak Peek of ‘America’s Got Talent: The Champions’
The upcoming episode of America’s Got Talent will see the end of the first round of the competition. The show’s YouTube channel has released one of this week’s performances, and the act is none other than the current reigning AGT champion himself, Shin Lim!
Host Terry Fator gets a special better-than-front-row seat for the performance (and we’re totally jealous!) as Shin invites him to sit onstage with him and watch the card magic unfold from an up-close and personal perspective.
This performance seems to be a sort of “greatest hits” type of act for Shin. It combines his signature “52 Shades of Red” act he did in his Judge Cuts episode back in Season 13, as well as a trick from the quarter-finals round a little later that season. But there is an all-new special surprise for Terry at the very end of the performance!
Unlike a lot of other magicians we see on AGT who put their own spin on classic tricks, Shin creates all of his own material. Since this episode was filmed back in October, it makes sense that he might not have had enough time to create and perfect a totally new act between the end of his season less than a month prior. Nevertheless, this was a very solid showing from him that displayed the best of his amazing slight-of-hand skills.
He may have won AGT Season 13, but will Shin Lim become an America’s Got Talent: The Champions finalist? Find out when the show airs Monday at 8/7 c on NBC.
