Dancing with the Stars pro dancer Rylee Arnold has shared with fans that she won’t be returning to the show’s live tour following a recent injury to her ankle. Arnold expressed her disappointment over not being able to continue with the tour.
Rylee Arnold Will Not Return to DWTS Live Tour
While performing in Salt Lake City last month, Arnold sprained her ankle and was not able to finish the show. She’s since been taking some time off to heal, joking in a recent TikTok video that she’s in her “nesting era.”
Unfortunately, Arnold won’t be back on stage for the remainder of the tour, which is scheduled to finish on April 19. The dancer posted an update video on Instagram Tuesday, sharing that her doctor “did not OK me to get back to dancing right now.”
“I’m going to be resting and healing at this time to make sure that my ankle properly gets healed and returns back to the way it was,” Arnold explained. “I am so sad that I won’t be joining back with the tour, but it’s such a fun show, and I know all of you guys who are going are going to have so much fun.”
She went on to say that her fellow dancers are “the most talented people I know.” Arnold thanked fans for their support, saying she “can’t wait to see you guys again, and to get back dancing.”

Arnold received an outpouring of support in the comments of her Instagram update, from fans and friends alike. Her fellow DWTS pro Ezra Sosa wrote, “goshhhhhh im gonna miss ya.” Arnold’s older sister and former DWTS pro wrote, “Love you so much!!!”
The official DWTS tour account also commented, writing, “We love you.” Meanwhile, the dancer’s fans offered their well wishes for a speedy recovery. Arnold also reposted Instagram stories from a few fan accounts who shared their love.
According to Us Weekly, Kailyn Rogers is filling in for Arnold on the tour. Rogers was a member of the DWTS troupe in Season 33. During the second Salt Lake City show last month, Arnold made an appearance on stage to thank her loved ones for showing up to her hometown show even though she wasn’t performing.
