Ryan Gosling stars as Ken in the upcoming Barbie movie, and it looks like he’ll be showing off his singing talents on the film’s soundtrack. A list of music artists featured on the album has been released, and it includes Gosling.
Ryan Gosling Has a Song on the Barbie Soundtrack
On Thursday, a list of artists featured on the Barbie movie soundtrack was released. One of the names on the list is Gosling, who stars as Barbie’s boyfriend Ken. It looks like he’ll be performing a new song as part of his role in the film.
Gosling is no stranger to music. Although some fans of his movies might not be aware, the actor released an album called Dead Man’s Bones in 2009 as part of a rock duo by the same name.
Other names on the star-studded list of artists are Ava Max, Charlie XCX, Dominic Fike, Dua Lipa, FIFTY FIFTY, GAYLE, HAIM, Ice Spice, Kali, Karol G, Khalid, Lizzo, Nicki Minaj, PinkPantheress, Tame Impala, and The Kid LAROI.
Fans apparently won’t have to wait long to hear one of the new tracks, as the Instagram account for Barbie the Album teased that Dua Lipa’s song will be released this Friday. The full album will be released everywhere on July 21, the same day the movie is out.

A New Trailer Was Just Released
On Thursday, a new trailer was released for the Barbie movie. This one gives a little more detail about the movie’s plot, in which Barbie (Margot Robbie) and Ken travel to the real world and struggle to adjust. Plenty of fun outfits are involved.
The trailer also teases some of the supporting cast, including America Ferrera and Will Ferrell, who says at one point, “No one rests until this doll is back in a box.”
“If you love Barbie, this movie is for you,” the trailer tells viewers. “If you hate Barbie, this movie is for you.”
