‘Queen of the Universe’ Is Canceled, Taiga Brava Wins Season 2

Not long after Taiga Brava was announced as the winner of Queen of the Universe Season 2, the show was canceled at Paramount+. The singing competition is also unfortunately set to be removed from the platform.
Taiga Brava Wins Queen of the Universe Season 2
Queen of the Universe is a singing competition for drag queens. The show, which is produced by World of Wonder, premiered in December 2021. The first season was won by Grag Queen from Brazil, with Ada Vox from the U.S. coming in second place.
The second season of the show premiered earlier this month on Paramount+. Last week, Taiga Brava from Mexico was announced as the winner during the Season 2 finale. Trevor Ashley from Australia finished in second place.
Unfortunately, Queen of the Universe has been canceled after just two seasons. The final four episodes of the show were made available on June 22. According to Variety, the show will be removed from Paramount+ on June 30.
“We want to extend our thanks to our tremendously talented cast and crew and our producing partners for their passionate work and dedication on these programs, and we wish them all the best on their future endeavors,” a Paramount+ spokesperson said of the platform’s recent cancellations.

Fans React to the Show’s Cancellation
Following news of the show’s cancellation, fans shared their thoughts on Instagram. They expressed their disappointment that the show would not be renewed for another season in the comments of the winner announcement.
“Sad to see this show is cancelled,” wrote user @browne.rice. “Going to watch all the remaining episodes and cancel my subscription. Bye Paramount!”
