Previous ‘The Voice’ Contestants Get Together To Raise Funds For Harvey Relief

NBC

We were all saddened by the destruction that hurricane Harvey unleashed on Texas a couple of weeks ago. It was particularly sad for me because I’m from Houston. But it’s great that it’s brought people together, including several former The Voice contestants who put on various shows throughout the country yesterday with all proceeds going to help those affected by the hurricane.

It may not be a concert from Houston native queen Beyonce but I’m sure they raised some nice funds. Brennley Brown, Lilli Passero, Stephanie Rice, Johnny Gates, Darby Anne Walker, Jack Cassidy, Davina Leone, Julien Martinez, and Trinity Rose performed at The Hotel Cafe in LA to a big crowd. Chris Blue, Crystal Bowersox, Jess Meuse, Phillip Phillips, Mary Sarah, and Luke Wade all sang in different venues around the nation. They haven’t put out how much they raised but I’m sure it was a good chunk of change.
