Paris Hilton Says She’s ‘So Proud’ of Britney Spears After Reading Her Memoir

Paris Hilton was recently a guest on The Kelly Clarkson Show, where she talked about her friendship with Britney Spears. Hilton said she cried when she read what Spears wrote about her in her memoir, The Woman in Me.
Paris Hilton Is ‘So Proud’ of Britney Spears
While talking to Hilton, Clarkson shared a quote from Spears’ memoir, in which the pop star wrote, “One of the people who was kindest to me when I really needed kindness was Paris Hilton.” Hilton said she cried when she read that.
“That really touched me,” Hilton said of Spears’ words. “She’s just so strong. I love her so much. And I’m just so proud of her for speaking her truth and writing this whole book. And that quote just meant a lot to me when I read it.”
Hilton also recently spoke about Spears during an appearance on Today. She shared that she’s still in touch with Spears, saying, “We were actually speaking a couple days ago and planning a girls night.”
Earlier this month, Hilton posted a few old photos with Spears on Instagram, writing, “17 years ago, Britney and I created the selfie!”

Hilton Released Her Own Memoir This Year
Earlier this year, Hilton released her own memoir titled Paris: The Memoir. When speaking about the book back in March, Hilton said she wanted to “tell my truth.” She said she was inspired to write the book after releasing the documentary This Is Paris in 2020.
Recently, it was reported that Hilton’s memoir has been optioned by A24 for a television series. Elle and Dakota Fanning will serve as executive producers on the project through their production company, Lewellen Pictures.
Hilton also recently revealed that she and her husband Carter Reum have welcomed a second child together, daughter London. The couple welcomed their first child, son Phoenix, back in January of this year.
