What Caused Beef Between One Direction Members Zayn, Louis?
The alleged conflict between Tomlinson and Malik reportedly occurred while they were filming a three-part docuseries for Netflix in which they took a road trip across the United States. The project was ultimately canceled due to the pair’s falling-out.
According to The Sun, Malik made a remark about Tomlinson’s late mother, who died of leukemia in 2016, during an argument between the pair. A source told The Sun, “Louis was stunned and in shock. As he went to move, Zayn then attacked him. Zayn punched him straight in the face. Because he was wearing rings it cut Louis’ head.”
The incident, which reportedly occurred six months ago, apparently left Tomlinson with a concussion. When it became apparent that the pair would not reconcile, Netflix reportedly decided to pull the plug on their documentary project.
Director Nicola Marsh posted about the project’s cancellation on Instagram, writing, “And there goes the last year of work.” Tomlinson also reportedly unfollowed Malik on Instagram.
Gossip site Deuxmoi recently posted gossip about Tomlinson and Malik’s beef, as a source alleged that the two singers were having a “drunken argument” when things got physical. While Tomlinson was discussing the deaths of his mother and sister, Malik was allegedly dismissive, telling him to move on.
The source also shared that the incident was apparently captured on film. Although Tomlinson was “left shaken” by the situation, he chose not to pursue legal action against his former One Direction bandmate. According to the source, the pair was already “not on good terms” before the situation escalated.
Neither Tomlinson nor Malik has commented publicly about the alleged altercation.
