Nicole Scherzinger Reflects on Her Performance at The King’s Coronation

Pop singer Nicole Scherzinger recently reflected on her performance during King Charles III’s coronation concert. The former Pussycat Dolls member performed “Reflection” from the 1998 animated Disney film Mulan.
Nicole Scherzinger Sings Disney Classic at The King’s Coronation
Accompanied by pianist Lang Lang, Scherzinger seized the moment of singing a soulful rendition of the Disney classic. The “Don’t Cha” singer was wearing a blue gown, complementing the lights of Windsor Castle in the background.
Scherzinger was accompanied by a 70-piece orchestra and house band composed of comprising the Massed Bands of the Household Division and the Countess of Wessex’s String Orchestra. The Chinese-born pianist kicked off the performance with a solo instrumental interlude, then introducing Scherzinger as his partner for the night.
Before her actual performance, the Pussycat Dolls star posted the possible outfits for the coronation concert. Some of which are a mustard yellow silhouette dress and a one-shoulder flowing white gown.
Scherzinger was not the only musical performer to grace the show. Pop superstar Katy Perry and music and R&B icon Lionel Richie also took the stage to sing and honor the new King Charles.
She Says She Felt Like a “Real-life Warrior Princess”
On Instagram, the singer took the time to reflect on her performance. According to Scherzinger, the moment felt like “real-life warrior princess” belting out a song in front of Windsor castle.
“If someone told little Nicole that she would one day be performing for a King’s Coronation on a first time ever historical stage for all of the world to see…I would not have believed it,” she wrote. “It was an honor to grace that stage and to communicate the best way I know how, through song.”
Scherzinger concluded her post by describing the night as a “moment in time” and a night she will remember forever.
