America’s Got Talent has seen some great acts in auditions up to this point. With another audition episode on the rise, the show released Nicolas Ribs’s audition ahead of the episode. You don’t want to miss this one!

Nicolas took the stage alongside his daughter, Emma, who acted as his translator. Before he began his act, Emma explained that her dad began learning magic at the age of 20 and eventually ended up quitting his day job as an audiologist to pursue magic full time. Emma then went on to explain that she’s a huge fan of America’s Got Talent, so she pushed him to audition for the show.

Nicolas Ribs Impresses The Judges with His Mind Blowing Magic

As soon as Nicolas’s act began, it was clear that he brought a unique type of magic, known as close up magic, to the stage. Everything he did was on a table in front of him. The camera was pointed directly at the table, which seemed to have some type of projection on it. The table was then shown on the background behind him (in place of the AGT logo) so the audience could see what he was doing.

During the act, he made things magically appear out of thin air. For example, a deck of cards would show up on his table, then it would magically appear in his hand. At the end of the act, he made the eiffel tower that appeared on the table come to life before everyone’s eyes. His act was so amazing because it was absolutely mind boggling.

The audience and judges gave Nicolas a standing ovation at the end of the audition. The video ended with the magician tearing up. Even though judges’ comments weren’t given in this video, I’m sure Nicolas will make it into the next round of the competition. Tune into America’s Got Talent on Tuesday night to see what the judges say about his mind bending performance.

What Was He Up to Before AGT?

Nicolas Ribs is a magician that practices close up and digital magic, as well as magician-mentalist routines. Within his website, he describes himself as a magician, mentalist, and pick pocket. At the age of 16, Nicolas sustained a sports injury which lead to six months of immobilization. Around the time of his injury his spark for magic began, since then he’s worked in magic, pickpocketing, and mentalism.

In 2019, Nicolas competed on La France Incroyable Talent. He also has been apart of the French magician based television show, TF1 Diversion in both 2019 and 2020. He currently has 4,228 followers on Instagram and 123 subscribers on YouTube, but I expect both counts to go up after his audition airs on Tuesday.
