Nicki Minaj Hypes Up New Album Pink Friday 2

Pink Friday 2 is Minaj’s fifth studio album, and a sequel to her debut album Pink Friday. It is set to be released this Friday, December 8. This is Minaj’s first new album since 2018’s Queen. The rapper has been teasing the album for several years now, and the release date has changed.

Minaj has released two singles ahead of the album — “Super Freaky Girl” and “Last Time I Saw You.” During her performance at the MTV Video Music Awards this year, she also debuted the song “Big Difference.” Minaj has also released the track “Red Ruby da Sleeze.”

Ahead of the release, Minaj has teased that she’ll take fans to “GAG CITY.” This fictional utopia has become part of the marketing of the album. In a new teaser video, Minaj gives fans a “Gag City Update,” telling them to “prepare for impact.”

Fans Are Using AI to Create Gag City

According to Forbes, Minaj’s fans have taken the concept of Gag City and run with it. Many of them are using AI software to create images of the fictional city, which is pink and bright. Some fans have even created a theme park and businesses such as a KFC restaurant.

The city’s aesthetic is similar to one of a few different album covers Minaj has shared. It shows the rapper standing on a subway car without a roof, which is traveling above pink clouds. A city skyline can be seen in the background.
