In a new interview with Bravo’s Andy Cohen on his talk show, Nick Cannon revealed that he once pitched a home and garden show to the network featuring him and his ex-wife Mariah Carey. Cohen actually said that he regretted not picking it up.

Cannon shared that the first time he talked to Cohen, he was an executive at Bravo who hadn’t become famous yet. Cannon came to pitch a home and garden show featuring him and his then-wife Mariah Carey. Cohen wondered, “How did I not buy that?”

“You were like, ‘I love it, but that’s kinda weird,'” Cannon recalled. “And I was like, ‘It’s gonna be like Martha Stewart.’ I was trying to pitch it, and you were interested ’cause you were really nice, but you didn’t buy it.”

Cohen said that now that he thinks about it, he was “crazy” for not taking that idea. “Who wouldn’t want to see Nick and Mariah in the garden?” he wondered. He predicted that “not a lot of gardening” would actually be happening. Cannon joked that Carey would boss him around.

As the talk show wrote on Twitter, “I could’ve been a #Bravolebrity but @Andy didn’t buy the show!”

Do Cannon and Carey Get Along After Their Divorce?

Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey got married in 2008, and in 2011 they welcomed their twins Monroe and Moroccan. The couple separated in 2014 and finalized their divorce in 2016. Cannon has since had five more children with three other women.

Despite no longer being a couple, Cannon and Carey seem to have a pretty amicable relationship as co-parents. As Carey said in 2017, “He’s a good guy. It’s not that hard to make it work. Now we can laugh, and joke, and do the good parts of when we had a relationship.”

“It just made us say ‘Let’s co-exist for the betterment of our children,’” Cannon said last year. “We’re doing whatever we can to make sure their upbringing is as healthy as can possibly be and that we’re as healthy as we can possibly be. And that’s where we are to this day.”

So maybe that home and garden show is still a possibility?
