The Masked Singer host Nick Cannon is facing more criticism for his parenting after Bre Tiesi implied she couldn’t afford a night nurse while taking care of her and Cannon’s baby son Legendary. Fans wondered why Cannon wasn’t helping, which prompted Tiesi to get defensive.

Nick Cannon Criticized Over Bre Tiesi’s Comments

It all started earlier this month, when Tiesi posted on Instagram that she hadn’t slept “in like three days” while her two-month-old son was “screaming his little head off.” She went on to post an interaction with a fan who suggested she get a night nurse.

Tiesi replied, “Lol ya sure u wanna pay for it?” When the fan suggested that she should talk to Cannon about it, Tiesi responded that she doesn’t “need your unsolicited advice.” She added in Instagram stories that her “Venmo is my name.”

She went on to write, “KEEP MY PARENTING MY KID AND MY BABY DADDYS NAME OUT UR MOUTH. Nick is NOT my sugar daddy. Nick is MY F*KIN CHILDS FATHER THAT IS ALL.”

Some Twitter users saw this as Cannon failing to financially support his children, with one person writing, “Like what is the point of Nick Cannon as a father?” Another wrote, “You cannot give proper care and attention to all those kids.”

Tiesi Responds to the Criticism

Tiesi’s comments about Cannon seemed to contradict previous remarks she’s made about their relationship. As she said in June, “My favorite thing about Nick is that if I want something, I ask for it. I never have to ask for it again. I never have to say the same thing twice … He’s there, and he comes through.”

The model once again took to Instagram stories following the recent drama, claiming that “no one was venting.” She added that she was “not sure how ANYTHING I was saying had to do with needing a night nurse or Nick at all.”

Tiesi went on to write that “regardless of working I want every minute with my son why would I have someone else do it.” Tiesi shared that she was simply sharing “a hard moment as a mom.”

Still, the situation doesn’t exactly cast Cannon in the best light. The star recently welcomed his ninth baby, and he has another one on the way. At this point, Cannon has had children with six different women.
