Niall Horan Thrills Fans by Performing a One Direction Song

Niall Horan went back to his roots over the weekend, performing “Steal My Girl” by One Direction during his set at Capital’s Summertime Ball at Wembley Stadium in London. Fans in the crowd were thrilled by the performance, as they sang along with him.

Niall Horan Performs One Direction Song at Wembley

Over the weekend, Niall Horan took the stage at Capital’s Summertime Ball at Wembley Stadium. During his set, Horan delighted fans by performing “Steal My Girl,” which he formerly sang as part of the boy band One Direction.

“Steal My Girl” appeared on the group’s fourth studio album, Four, released in 2014. When the opening notes of the song started playing, the crowd at Wembley began screaming in excitement. Horan delivered an energetic and fun performance, and the audience could be heard singing along to the lyrics.

Fans online also expressed their excitement over Horan performing the classic track. One YouTube commenter wrote that “the quality of his vocal is better than during his time in the band,” while someone else commented, “If there ever is a 1D reunion one day, Niall will definitely stand out more in the lead vocal space for sure!”

Horan Performed 1D at a Previous Festival

This isn’t the first time Niall Horan has performed a One Direction song at Capital’s Summertime Ball. In 2023, he took the stage at Wembley Stadium to perform “Story of My Life,” which was released on the group’s third studio album, Midnight Memories, in 2013.

This year’s festival also featured a set by December 10, the new boy band created by Simon Cowell on his Netflix docuseries The Next Act. The group performed their original songs “Run My Way” and “Infinity (123),” as well as a cover of “End of Beginning” by Djo.
