The Voice alum Morgan Wallen has finally returned on stage after a disturbing vocal cord injury. The “Last Night” singer has recently performed in front of a sold-out crowd, showing off his fully healed voice.

Morgan Wallen Resumes Tour After Vocal Cord Injury

Following his uneasy six-week hiatus, Wallen wasted no chance and immediately stepped on stage to perform again. The country star hyped up Chicago on Thursday, playing in front of over 40,000 fans at the Wrigley Field.

“Chicago, I can still feel the energy today. Thank you for an incredible couple of nights in your city,” he wrote on Instagram.

Back in May 9, Wallen announced that his doctors encouraged him to take a vocal rest for six weeks to nurse his vocal cords. According to the “Whiskey Glasses” singer, if he wouldn’t follow such advice, he could “permanently damage” his voice.

While on a break, Wallen nonetheless informed his fans of his new tour dates. Apparently, his One Night At A Time world tour will have to run until June 2024.

Fans Are Happy He’s Back

Upon learning that he’s finally back, Wallen’s fans expressed their relief. In the comment section of his Chicago show post, many have intimated their pleasure over the singer’s vocal recovery.

“Unbelievable. so glad you’re able to be back where you belong,” one fan wrote.

One fan particularly pointed out how Wallen says “Thank you” every time he finishes a song. Furthermore, one person stated that the entire of their family enjoyed Wallen’s music during his Chicago stop.

“Thanks for the great show and giving glory to our lord and savior Jesus Christ,” the person wrote. “Our whole family enjoyed your music and your genuine character, humility and love.”

“Looks like a great night!” another one wrote.

Wallen’s One Night At A Time world tour continues in Michigan.
