“Miz and Mrs.” Renewed for Season 3 After Weeks of Suspense

Mike “The Miz” Mizanin has been teasing a huge announcement on social media for an entire month. He and his wife, Maryse, have been posting gorgeous couple photos on Instagram but have not given out any hints. The Miz took a break from Dancing with the Stars rehearsals to appear on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to announce the return of his reality show Miz & Mrs.
‘Miz & Mrs‘ is Returning for Season 3
Mario Lopez served as the guest host for the episode. Everyone had been making their guesses about what the surprise announcement could be. A baby on the way was the most popular guess. The Miz debunked the rumor during Dancing with the Stars this week. His pro dance partner Witney Carson asked whether or not he wanted to have more children. The father of two told Carson candidly that he and Maryse did not plan on having more children.
The show documents their relationship and trying to navigate The Miz’s jam-packed schedule while balancing fatherhood. He has one of the largest fanbases out of all of the people on the current WWE roster. This announcement may not come as a shock to some who speculated back in May that the show would be renewed. This new season is expected to show an inside look at his Dancing with the Stars journey.
The WWE Star Reflected on the Competition
The WWE star has been a hit with fans on Dancing with the Stars who love his commitment to each dance. For Disney week, he painted his entire body blue as Genie from Aladdin and sported a full head of hair as Scar from The Lion King. He came out sporting some of his best dance moves on The Ellen DeGeneres Show stage.
“By the way, Dancing with the Stars is pretty grueling,” he said. “Like every day you’re training for three hours and then you go home and my daughters run up to my car and go, ‘Hey dada, you wanna dance?’ and I’m like ‘oh my God my daughters want to dance with me, sure.'”
The Miz typically picks both of his daughters up at the same time and performs his routines. He joked that his biceps have never been bigger in his entire life. He admitted that he did a jump during dress rehearsal and he pulled his hamstring a little bit. The Miz said that being on Dancing with the Stars is “so much fun,” especially since he has been a longtime fan of the show.
