Miley Cyrus Teases New Single ‘Used to Be Young’
According to Bustle, posters appeared in France this month featuring photos of Cyrus alongside lyrics from some of her most iconic songs, such as “Wrecking Ball,” “Party in the USA,” and “Flowers.” There’s also a new lyric: “I say I used to be young.”
Fans think this is a sign that Cyrus is preparing to announce a new single called “Used to Be Young.” The singer teased the song in an interview with British Vogue earlier this year, as she recited the lyrics, “I know I used to be crazy. I know I used to be fun. You say I used to be wild. I say I used to be young.”
Then on Tuesday, Cyrus posted a video to social media showing the aforementioned posters. In the caption, she wrote the same lyrics she had previously teased. The post doesn’t include any further information about when fans can expect the new track.

The Song’s Title Has Seemingly Been Confirmed
Bustle points out that Cyrus recently announced a 10th anniversary vinyl for her 2013 album Bangerz. The product’s description reads in part, “Reflect back on when Miley Used To Be Young.”
The title “Used to Be Young” has seemingly been confirmed, not only through the Bangerz vinyl description, but also through the singer’s YouTube channel. Fans on social media spotted a notable change.
The thumbnails on many of the channel’s videos now show the words “Used to Be Young” written across the image. This applies to videos going back as far as 2010. Cyrus is really doing the most to get fans hyped for the new song.
