Meghan Trainor Gives Birth to Second Child with Husband Daryl Sabara

Meghan Trainor took to social media on Tuesday to share the news that she had given birth to her second child with husband Daryl Sabara. The couple welcomed another baby boy, joining their 2-year-old son Riley.
Meghan Trainor Announces Birth of Son Barry
Trainor posted a series of photos on Instagram showing her newborn son in the hospital, being held by both his parents. She shared in the caption that he was born on July 1, which is the seven-year anniversary of her first date with Sabara.
The post also reveals that the baby’s name is Barry Bruce Trainor. The singer wrote, “He was a big boy at 8lbs 7oz…and sideways (transverse), but we had an amazing, successful c-section, and I finally got my skin to skin time! Thank you to all of the incredible doctors and nurses who took such great care of us.”
Some commenters noted that Barry apparently has his mom’s last name rather than his dad’s, as the tradition usually goes. One fan even asked of the couple, “Is something going on between y’all?” However, Trainor didn’t explain the decision in her post.

Trainor’s Friends Responded with Joy
The comments on Trainor’s birth announcement are full of happy messages from the singer’s friends, including one from Paris Hilton, who wrote, “Congratulations sis! So happy for you!” Mandy Moore wrote, “Go Mama!! And welcome to the party, Barry!! What a lucky dude!!”
Pentatonix star Scott Hoying wrote, “A perfect beautiful icon, legend, star born into the most wonderful family possible! Congrats.” Meanwhile, journalist Tomás Mier referenced Trainor’s song “Mother,” writing, “MEGHAN TRAINOR IS LITERALLY MOTHER.”
Trainor and Sabara revealed that they were having another boy on The Kelly Clarkson Show earlier this year, with the help of their son Riley. Trainor had revealed her pregnancy back in January, saying she knew the baby’s sex but wasn’t ready to share it.
