Meet Sofie Dossi, ‘AGT: Fantasy League’s Breathtaking Contortionist

Years back, Sofie Dossi captivated the America’s Got Talent crowd with her extreme strength and flexibility in contortion. Now, she’s once again ready to get everyone’s jaw dropping with her unbelievable stunts. Dossi is among the 40 talented acts set to compete on AGT‘s newest spinoff, AGT: Fantasy League. Let’s get to know her better.
Sofie Dossi is a Self-Taught Contortionist
Hailing from Southern California, Dossi is an international live-performing artist. She is of Arab descent on her mother’s side and of Italian ancestry on her father’s side. At 12, she discovered that she can flex similarly to the contortionist in a Cirque du Soleil video. From there, she began learning the art by herself by imitating poses she freely found on YouTube.
To test her ability, she performed during friends and family gatherings. She was later hired to showcase her talent at large events.
She officially kicked off her career on season 11 of America’s Got Talent as a finalist and Golden Buzzer recipient. Her successful stint on the show had earned her worthy appearances on Nightline, The Ellen Show, ESPN, Fox Sports, People Magazine, Refinery 29, Allure and more.
Shortly after her boom on television, Dossi launched her own YouTube channel. Her popularity helped in drawing attention to her online traction, with her amassing over 1.6 billion views and 7 million subscribers. Her TikTok following is even more huge, with her following growing into over 12 million. She’s also managed to collaborate alongside major content creators such as Mr. Beast, Miranda Sings, Zach King, Lilly Singh, Logan Paul, and Sean Johnson.
She’s Competing on AGT: Fantasy League
In 2019, she returned to the series for the first season of America’s Got Talent: The Champions. After her impressive aerial act, she finished in third place. Then, she continued to appear on AGT, collaborating with singer Bianca Ryan and violinist Brian King Joseph. She’s also reunited with Reba McEntire for a special performance during the final result show of season 18.
Dossi is obviously a staple on AGT and thus, it’s not surprising that she’s one among the acts included in the Draft Pool of Fantasy League. The contortionist announced the great news on Instagram.
“I’M BACKKKK!! I’m going on America’s Got Talent Fantasy League premiering January 1st on @nbc !! Get ready for the craziest competition yet! #AGT” she wrote.
With her looming comeback, fans are eager to know how she’ll be able to set herself apart from other acts.
