This young singer, originally from the U.S. Virgin Islands, has stuck with coach Nick Jonas through the Battles and the Knockouts. Her blind audition, in which she sang “Use Somebody” by Kings of Leon, has gotten over 5 million views on YouTube.

Allegra Comes From A Musical Family
Allegra’s mother is a music therapist, and according to her Voice bio, she and her family would perform at open mic nights when she was growing up. She’s been playing the piano since she was four years old, and at age 12 she started writing her own songs.
For the last two years, Allegra has balanced schoolwork with performing. It’s easy to see where she gets her talent when you watch the above video of Allegra singing with her mom.
She Performed At Cargenie Hall At Age 13
In December 2016, Allegra won first place in the musical theatre category of international singing competition American Protégé. She delivered a solo performance at historic Manhattan concert venue Carnegie Hall.

According to her website, Allegra also performed the National Anthem before a Dolphins/Cardinals training game when she was just 12 years old. That’s a pretty impressive resume for a teenager.
Allegra Also Has A Background In Theatre
Allegra has performed in theatre her whole life, training in the performing arts starting at 2 years old. Last year, she completed the Professional Theatre Training Program at the Maltz Jupiter Theatre Goldner Conservatory of Performing Arts in Jupiter, Florida.
She’s performed in productions of musicals like Mamma Mia! and Beauty and the Beast. Allegra shared photos from her time in Beauty and the Beast on Instagram, saying the experience “truly changed my life forever.” She also co-wrote and directed a short musical called Ten Years Without You.
Jessie J Loves Allegra’s Voice
In 2018, Jessie J included an instrumental track on her album R.O.S.E., asking aspiring musicians to write their own lyrics and sing them for her. She shared some of her favorites on Instagram, and Allegra’s was one of the ones chosen.

“When I saw that Jessie had put me on her story, I was screaming and freaking out!” Allegra said in an interview. “I’m so grateful for the feature!” She also said that Jessie J is one of her biggest musical inspirations, and she wants to be an artist like her.
