Mauricio Umansky, Kyle Richards Don’t Have a Prenup, Haven’t Hired Divorce Lawyers

Mauricio Umansky and Kyle Richards are currently separated after 27 years of marriage, but they’re not going through with a divorce just yet. The couple, who has no prenuptial agreement, reportedly haven’t hired divorce lawyers.

TMZ has reported that Umansky and Richards don’t have a prenuptial agreement about how to divide up their assets in the event of a divorce. Richards addressed their lack of prenup back in 2017, saying their financial situation was very different when they got married.
“My husband and I didn’t have two nickels to rub together when we got married, so a prenup was not an option or even talked about,” Richards said, according to Page Six. “If I were to marry somebody who had less money than me, I would probably make them sign a prenup. But if I were getting married to somebody with a lot of money, no I wouldn’t sign one.”
In September, Umansky confirmed that he and Richards are “currently separated,” but he added that they are “not talking about divorce.” According to new reports, neither Umansky nor Richards has hired a divorce lawyer.
“Kyle and Mauricio have not hired attorneys, nor have either of them filed yet,” a source told Us Weekly. “While they are separated, they want to keep their lives as normal as possible for the kids.”

Dating Rumors Persist for Umansky, Emma Slater
Last week, Umansky and his Dancing with the Stars partner Emma Slater were eliminated from the show. The pair was the subject of dating rumors during their time dancing together, and the gossip hasn’t stopped even after they denied they were dating.
After photos were released of Umansky and Slater holding hands after sharing a meal together, they took to Instagram stories to tell fans that there’s nothing romantic between them. However, they were spotted together at a club last week after their DWTS elimination.
Meanwhile, Richards recently said it was “strange to see” Umansky and Slater together, sharing, “We were married almost 28 years. So, that’s hard to see.”
