Clues on The Masked Singer Season 8
The single clue we received for the Mermaid before the season came from Instagram. The “mask-ray” clue was a seashell! Could it be someone with a connection to the Seashell from a few seasons ago, Tamara Mowry-Housley? She does have a twin sister, Tia Mowry, after all, or her TV mom from Sister, Sister, Jackée Harry, would also be a fun contestant.
The fact that Mermaid is often seen sitting/lying down could also point to an older celebrity under the mask. That could definitely be an early clue about her identity!

Tia Mowry seems to be a popular guess online, but there’s no way The Masked Singer would be that obvious with a clue! Some other predictions include Jodi Benson (the original voice of Ariel on The Little Mermaid) or Mel B.
