Reading Time: 3 minutes

The Masked Singer season 4 has promised, and delivered, bigger and better stars than ever! The Masked Singer Crocodile emerged as an early frontrunner with serious boy band vibes. Plus, you gotta love the pink suit and bedazzled bow tie and hat!

But which celebrity is under the Crocodile mask? Here are all the clues, plus our prediction!

Clues on The Masked Singer Season 4

The scene of the Crocodile’s first clues is a jungle with tiki torches, lanterns, and tables for two everywhere. He starts by saying the costume was a “natural selection, because [he’s] happiest in water.” He grew up in Hollywood, “surrounded by heartache and instability.” We see him at a table with a fish inside a pineapple and an Italian flag. He’s a “warm, sensitive creature who just wants to be loved back.” A rainbow flies over the screen. He ends saying he can’t wait to share his “hidden talent” as he makes a “wicked big splash.”

In his second set of clues, the Crocodile says that being on the show has “really revived [his] love for performing.” He hasn’t felt this passionate about it since he was a kid! We see an American flag and a pirate flag (with a skull and crossbones) in front of a house with a “5” on it. The house has an anchor, a disco ball, and a can of hair spray in it. Crocodile says he remembers performing in his backyard and he is seen next to an orange tree. But his father didn’t believe in him. When he got his first check for $100, he finally believed in him. Then, he says “Shazam!” His dreams became a reality.

Ken guessed the Crocodile is Jon Hamm. Nicole picked up on the boy band vibes, and thought it could be Nick Lachey. Robin predicted Jenny’s “boo,” Donnie Wahlberg might be under the mask. Online, guesses have focused on Nick Carter, Adam Lambert, or Joey Lawrence.

Our Prediction for The Crocodile On The Masked Singer

With all the boy band vibes, it’s no surprise that the guesses have centered around former boy band members. But which celebrity is under the Crocodile mask? We are predicting that it is…

Nick Carter from the Backstreet Boys!

And there are plenty of clues that point to him, besides his recognizable voice. Here’s how everything fits together!

The Crocodile says that “keys changed his life.” Nick Carter is from Florida and proposed in the Keys. His Florida roots also explain the orange trees seen in later clues. Crocodile mentioned “heartache” in his first clues, alluding the BSB’s “I Want It That Way.” The Backstreet Boys has a residency in Vegas, which explains the Vegas-style clues. Crocodile is also seen going down a slip-n-slide, which Nick Carter did in his role in “Edward Scissorhands.”

Nick is also part Italian, which explains the Italian flag. The Pirate flag we also see in clues could be a nod to his pirate ship tattoo, or the fact that he’s a Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan. We also saw a “5” on a house and there were 5 members in the Backstreet Boys, as well as five siblings in the Carter household. His story about singing for his dad and him not caring until he showed his first paycheck for $100 is also strangely familiar to Nick Carter fans. He has shared the same story in interviews before!
