The Masked Singer has announced that they will have both live audiences AND an exclusive at-home voting panel for Super Fans during season 6. The at-home fans will be able to guess alongside the star-studded celebrity panel from the comfort of the couch.

The Masked Singer shared that fully vaccinated Super Fans will be able to participate in their tapings on July 8 and 9 in Hollywood. This is big news since the show has not seen a live audience since season three.

“Bring your family and see America’s number 1 show live and in person for the first time in over a year,” said FOX in their announcement.

You (and Hopefully Your Favorite Acts) Will Not be Unmasked This Season

There are strict rules Super Fans will need to follow before taking their seats. All invitations are first come first serve from a vaccinated group of applicants. Those who are invited must be available for a COVID test on July 6 and be able to attend both tapings. They have slashed any confusion about vaccination status by specifying what they consider fully vaccinated for this event on the website.

Regardless of vaccination status, masks are required while in the audience. The only exception is short 15 minute time slots that are pre-approved. ALL audience members will need to be both fully vaccinated, and tested 48 hours before the taping.

The announcement did not specify if audiences will be going back to their traditional 300 person count for this season. They have only stated that space is limited.

“We know this is a lot to do, but it keeps us safe in the studio. It will be worth it,” FOX said in their announcement.

Live audience participants will be able to cheer along, and vote who stays under the mask! If you’re interested in joining the live audience, sign up soon, space is limited!

‘Super Fan’ Panel to Vote From Home

Super Fans chosen to participate will be able to vote for who stays masked from the comfort of their own home during the upcoming season. Season six of The Masked Singer returns with a Zoom virtual audience on top of the live audience. This is great for Super Fans who want to vote, but don’t live close to the set.

The most important part of The Masked Singer is the ability to vote for your favorite acts. If picked as one of the Super Fans, you’ll be voting alongside returning judges Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger, and Robin Thicke!

Super Fans will be a part of a virtual audience, they will be able to watch the show and vote for who they think should remained masked. FOX’s announcement does not specify how the online panel will ran. But, according to their Twitter, at-home voting will be through Zoom.

The sign up to join the virtual audience is live now, so get your spot on the online panel!

COVID-19 did not slow down The Masked Singer‘s competition. The implementation of online voting has lead to more opportunities for fans to vote for who gets to remain masked. It brings the excitement from the live audience, straight into your own home!
