‘Love Island’ Star Maya Jama Shuts Down Leonardo DiCaprio Dating Rumors

Love Island presenter Maya Jama originally didn’t want to address the dating rumors surrounding her and actor Leonardo DiCaprio. However, she recently chose to respond to hilarious romance allegations, completely shutting down people’s assumptions.
Maya Jama, Leonardo DiCaprio Allegedly Dating Since February
Nearing two months ago, Jama and DiCaprio sparked dating rumors when they were spotted partying together in West London two nights in a row. This was during the the 2023 BAFTA Awards weekend. The Sun particularly reported that the TV presenter spent a “really late night” with Caprio and his friends.
Fast forward to April, the same news outlet stated that Jama and DiCaprio have been “secretly dating.” Such speculations brewed upon the two’s meetup in London, New York and Paris.
“Maya and Leo are in regular contact and have been on a string of dates,” the source claimed. “They have both recently come out of long-term relationships so neither of them are rushing into anything — they are having fun and seeing how it goes.”
The unknown source then stated that the two were “taking things a day at a time.” Furthermore, the same insider claimed that DiCaprio has been “wooing” Jama as he loves spending time with her.

She Had a Hilarious Clapback Against Dating Assumptions
For those who may not know, DiCaprio’s team has already denied the dating rumors before. However, Jama’s recent video brought confusion to some, where she was sporting a glam bikini while wearing a necklace that says “Leo” in its pendant. This apparently has once again awaken the romance gossips. As regards this issue, Jama has the simplest explanation.
“I’ve been minding my business on holiday & said I wouldn’t respond/pay attention to any of the silly stories anymore but you need to stop now, that is literally my star sign,” she tweeted. “We are not dating. Move on please.”
Upon this response, many followers quote tweeted, saying that they’ve been laughing about Jama’s clapback. On the TV personality’s end, this was her “last straw” as news outlets have been reporting the rumors in the past weeks.
Last January, Jama revealed that she has not been dating anyone since her split from NBA player Ben Simmons.
“I’m really, really single right now,” she said. “Newly single. It’s only been a month, but it’s nice.”
