Lizzo is Gearing Up for New Music Unfazed by Sexual Harassment Lawsuit

Pop superstar Lizzo was spotted walking to a recording studio in Hollywood for the first time since the sexual harassment allegations. Seemingly unbothered by her controversial lawsuit, the “Pink” singer says she’s making new music for her fans.
Lizzo Says New Music is Coming Amid Harassment Lawsuit
Photographers were able to have a quick exchange with the singer, who’s seen to be getting down her car to go to the studio. Asked how she’s been holding up these says, Lizzo smiled and gave them a short answer.
“I’m okay. I’m good,” she said.
In the taped video, the singer was wearing a white hoodie and a pair of silver boots. Lizzo complemented this outfit with white shades and a silver bag, all while holding her white tumbler.
The “Truth Hurts” singer wanted to inform her fans that she’s “in a studio right now.” She went on and confirmed that new music is nonetheless coming soon.
It’s the first time since Lizzo spoke to the camera after three of her backup dancers sued her for sexual harassment and creating a hostile environment. Furthermore, her dancers accused the singer of pressuring one of them to touch a nude performer during an afterparty.
Claiming that she was only victim to “sensationalized narratives,” Lizzo admitted that the lawsuit was “gut wrenchingly difficult and overwhelmingly disappointing.” Despite so, it seems the singer is calmly dealing with the controversy — at least publicly.
She Plans to Countersue Her Backup Dancers
In response to the lawsuit, Lizzo reportedly intends to countersue her backup dancers. Earlier this month, new photos surfaced showing her dancers “happily carousing” and “gleefully reveling” with performers from a topless cabaret show in Paris.
According to Lizzo’s attorney, Marty Singer, such images negate claims that the plaintiffs felt pressured to the topless show. The singer’s legal team also claimed that they have other “substantial evidence” to prove that her dancers’ lawsuit is bogus. These include a video reportedly recorded after the Paris incident video in which one of the accusers gushed over Lizzo.
Lizzo has also strongly denied the accusations, deeming them “too outrageous to not be addressed.” After she prevails in the lawsuit, the singer reportedly plans to sue the dancers for malicious prosecution.
Be that as it may, the plaintiffs are not one to back down. Attorneys representing the three dancers responded to Lizzo’s comments, calling the same as “empty threats” and “victim shaming.” According to them, Lizzo’s denial won’t change any facts in the lawsuit.
