Leona Lewis To Join Jennifer Hudson As Her Guest Mentor On ‘The Voice UK’

We told you last week that Olly Murs had brought on Craig David to help him mentor his team. Will.i.Am is bringing all of the Black Eyed Peas except for Fergie and Tom Jones has the one and only Kylie Minogue. Not to be outdone, Jennifer Hudson has brought a couple of talent competition show heavy hitters to mentor her team: Leona Lewis and The Voice UK winner Mo Jamil.
Mo won last year under the tutelage of Jennifer before her brief stint on the American version of The Voice. Leona Lewis also famously won rival show The X Factor UK back in the day and had a very successful career. These are really good picks for Jen. Both of them match the kind of singing that Jennifer is famous for and I’m sure they will back up any instruction she gives the singers.
This year’s The Voice UK has been great so far and there is some real talent. I think that Jen has the strongest team at the moment if you are talking sheer vocal talent. We’ll see if that translates to another win.
