All heads were turned at Lauren Jauregui and the stunning dress she wore at the 2022 American Music Awards. The singer-songwriter wore a stunning floor length Norma Kamali dress covered in crystals on the red carpet.

The 2022 American Music Awards took place earlier this week at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles. Lauren Jauregui seemingly stole the show with her one-of-a-kind dress.
Donning a highly patterned dress with long sleeves and embellished with large, regal-style reflective crystals is surely going to grab a lot of attention. To which it did, arguably outdoing any other fashionable dresses worn by several stars on the event.
The former Fifth Harmony member also spoke about her creative process as an independent artist. She revealed that she’s currently enjoying her work as a solo artist, and her writing process is also getting better.
“It’s been really healing for me. I love music and art. It’s always been the way I allow myself to express myself.” Jauregui said. “So being able to do that, with my own voice, and getting to be completely in creative control because I’m independent, it’s been beautiful to just be able to create from an authentic place. It’s all I have ever wanted.”
She also revealed that if she would collaborate with another artist, she’d want it to be with Beyoncé. Although many were stunned by her dress, Jauregui revealed she was also shocked to see herself wearing the dress.
Her Hilarious Reaction to the Dress
It was revealed that from a second look, Jauregui’s dress had a bit of an optical illusion which caused some parts to be visibly exaggerated. Many photos circulated which confused fans prompting them to poke fun at the dress that made the singer’s behind look bigger.
Jauregui didn’t let herself be left out from the fun, eventually posted a reaction video on TikTok about her dress. The TikTok video shows the singer reacting to her dress giving an enhanced look to her bottom side. It is important to know that the video she reacts to has not been digitally altered in any way.
“Lmfao nobody told me my jacket made my a** look like this I’m crying.” Jauregui wrote in a Twitter post.
The singer also tweeted about her dress, revealing that it baffled her just as much as it did to everyone else. Following that, her look immediately went viral leaving many viewers wanting to have the very same dress.
