Kellyanne Conway BURSTS-OUT Singing After Daughter Claudia’s ‘American Idol’ Performance

Claudia Conway returned to American Idol this Sunday for the first round of Hollywood Week, and this time she brought her mom Kellyanne Conway.
Kellyanne is the former counselor to Donald Trump. Her rocky relationship with Claudia has been documented on social media. This week, however, the pair appeared to be getting along.
Kellyanne Conway Joins Claudia On ‘American Idol’
Kellyanne Conway wasn’t present in person during Claudia’s audition for American Idol earlier this season. Instead, she talked to her daughter via video chat. This time, however, she was present at Hollywood Week.

“It is okay for you to have different views than the people you love,” Claudia said during this week’s show. ” She and her mother were shown sharing a fist bump by the pool.
Claudia said her mom told her she was flat during rehearsals, which Kellyanne called “constructive criticism.” Kellyanne was in the audience while Claudia performed “River” by Bishop Briggs for the Genre Challenge. She stood up and clapped when the performance was over.
Kellyanne Sings After Claudia’s Performance
Claudia made it through to the next round of Hollywood Week, which is the Duets. After they learned the news, Kellyanne hugged Claudia and proceeded to sing to celebrate.

“She thinks I can’t sing,” Kellyanne said, before launching into “Girl on Fire” by Alicia Keys. Claudia looked away embarrassment, but eventually admitted, “That was kind of good. That was okay.”
This isn’t what fans are used to seeing from Claudia and her mom. Last year, Claudia tweeted that she was trying to get emancipated from her parents, saying that she had suffered “years of childhood trauma and abuse.”
After her audition, Claudia posted on TikTok that the experience had brought up her PTSD, and said Katy Perry’s questions about her mom “sent me into fight or flight mode.”
