Kelly Clarkson, Maroon 5 Performing at Charity Concert
Kelly Clarkson, Maroon 5, and OneRepublic have been announced as performers at this year’s We Can Survive concert, which is moving from New York City to the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. The concert will take place on Saturday, October 14.
A portion of the proceeds from the concert — which will be hosted by NEW 102.7 FM (WNEW-FM) — will benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), as part of Audacy’s mental health initiative I’m Listening.
More performers will be announced later, including the winner of the Opening Act contest. Listeners were able to vote for “the next big music superstar,” who will receive $10,000 and perform on the same stage as the concert’s famous headliners.
Tickets for the Concert Are Available Now
Tickets to the We Can Survive concert are available now through Ticketmaster. Audacy also encourages attendees to book their accommodations through Crewfare to get a discounted event rate near the concert venue.
“We Can Survive has captivated audiences over the past decade with its unforgettable performances, chart-topping artists and unwavering commitment to uniting listeners through the power of music,” said Audacy’s Michael Martin in a statement.
Past performers at the We Can Survive concert over the years have included Taylor Swift, Harry Styles, the Jonas Brothers, Billie Eilish, Alanis Morissette, Coldplay, Shawn Mendes, and more big names.
Clarkson has been performing quite a bit recently. In addition to finishing up her Las Vegas residency and promoting the deluxe version of her album Chemistry, the singer also recently took the stage at the iHeartRadio Music Festival.
