Kelly Clarkson, Maroon 5 Performing at Charity Concert
Kelly Clarkson, Maroon 5, and OneRepublic have been announced as performers at this year’s We Can Survive concert, which is moving from New York City to the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. The concert will take place on Saturday, October 14.
A portion of the proceeds from the concert — which will be hosted by NEW 102.7 FM (WNEW-FM) — will benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), as part of Audacy’s mental health initiative I’m Listening.
More performers will be announced later, including the winner of the Opening Act contest. Listeners were able to vote for “the next big music superstar,” who will receive $10,000 and perform on the same stage as the concert’s famous headliners.
