Kelly Clarkson is ‘Afraid’ To Let Her Kids Do What?

American Idol turned Voice coach has evolved into a pop-queen right in front of our eyes. That’s right we’ve watched Kelly Clarkson morph into the superstar she is today, live through Idol. However, Clarkson admits she would be afraid to let her kids compete on reality TV just as she did.
At a recent press conference the 2 time Voice coach winner said, “I seriously hope they’re tone deaf.” Kelly’s biggest fear? That she’ll be too hard on her kids.
Considering the “Since You’ve Been Gone” singer has literally shaped her life around Reality TV its definitely a stunning claim. Stealing the hearts of America on the first season of Idol propelled Kelly to the stardom she was bound to achieve.
Kelly’s kiddos, River Rose (4) and Remi (2) have A LOT of years before they’ll even be old enough to consider walking in moms footsteps. That still doesn’t stop the mom of two from worrying.
Clarkson fears that she would react similarly to her own mom and revealed,”But I think I’d be like her. I’d be like, ‘Yeah, I’ve heard better but it was solid.’ And I don’t want to be like that.”
That isn’t Kelly’s only concern…the star admitted that after winning Idol she felt alone. That transparency is why we love her!
We all know how mean and nasty the internet can be. Kelly even warned the moms of Voice winners Brynn Cartelli and Chevel Shepherd. “I warned Brynn’s mom, I warned [Chevel’s] mom. I’m like ‘Hold onto them!’ Hug them, tell them really nice things, cause people are mean. That’s horrible. It’s a reality.”
The 36 year old mother isn’t sugar coating a thing when it comes to the bullies of the world. Kelly finally reveals, “I hope they’re, like, teachers or doctors or something. It’s a hard industry.”
Whatever Kelly’s kids choose to do, we’re sure their mom will be their biggest fan.
