Katy Perry’s Style On American Idol Is ICONIC

American Idol may be a singing talent competition but Katy Perry is definitely making sure she brings the fashion aspect to the show! Ever since Katy hit the music scene, her wardrobe choices have always been BOLD to say the least and she’s keeping that same energy during the filming of American Idol.
Katy Perry’s style on the show? Anything shimmery, sparkly, and short has a stamp of approval by her. And I’ve got to say she pulls off all her looks effortlessly. Katy knows how to make a look that a “regular” person would most likely wear to a special occasion look perfectly fine as casual wear for her.

This shimmery dress of amazingness would probably be worn by us common people for a birthday celebration, New Year’s Eve party, something that has some sort of importance. But for Katy Perry, this dress is perfect for a regular day on set.
Katy has amazing legs so I totally get why she loves short dresses but personally I wouldn’t suggest going commando in one, unless you’re as confident as Katy Perry, who had no shame in her flash game.

Throughout the season you’ll realize she hasn’t exactly gone with bright colored outfits as she’s done in the past, yet she keeps the boldness of her looks with different materials and accents to her clothing!

And last but not least, Katy stuns again with the bold prints proving how much her look always stands out, effortlessly. I love watching American Idol for the talent obviously, but I secretly really watch to catch what look that Katy Perry will be wearing next and getting some major inspiration.
