JoJo Siwa Went to a Lakers Game, Almost Got Crushed by a Player

Dancing with the Stars Season 30 runner-up JoJo Siwa recently proved that sitting courtside at a Lakers game definitely has its drawbacks. The TikTok star was almost crushed by a basketball player who went flying into the crowd during the game. She shared the stressful video with fans.

JoJo Siwa Almost Crushed by Basketball Player

Siwa was sitting courtside at Tuesday’s Los Angeles Lakers game against the Phoenix Suns when Suns player Jae Crowder leaped toward the seats while chasing the ball. He ended up falling into the crowd, right next to Siwa, who leaned out of the way and covered her head as he toppled over the chairs right next to her.

Siwa shared a clip of the moment from two different angles on TikTok Tuesday night. She set the video to the song “Coming in Hot” by Andy Mineo and Lecrae and wrote in the caption, “When I tell you my life flashed before my eyes….”

The Phoenix Suns also tweeted video of the incident on Tuesday night, asking, “How’s it going down there, @itsjojosiwa?” The star retweeted the joke and added, “Quite well.”

The Star Was Excited to Sit Courtside

Siwa documented her Lakers experience on Instagram stories, as she arrived to the game 30 minutes early and then showed off the hot dog she ordered. She said she’s “always wanted to sit courtside and eat a hot dog.” She ordered several other snacks, including a soft pretzel.

The star also addressed the crazy incident with Crowder, saying, “If I wouldn’t have ducked … I would have been out, down for the count.” She added that the scary near miss “really spiced up the game.”

We’re glad Siwa’s dream courtside experience wasn’t ruined by a trip to the hospital. It just goes to show that sitting courtside at a Lakers game isn’t always as glamorous as it’s cracked up to be.
