JoJo Siwa Appears in Major Guest Star Role on Disney +

So You Think You Can Dance judge JoJo Siwa has recently revealed yet another Hollywood role. The former Nickelodeon star is set to appear in the Disney + series, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. The new season of this series premieres on the streaming service on July 27.

On June 29, the newest trailer for High School Musical: The Musical: The Series dropped and fans noticed some familiar faces alongside the beloved cast. In the newest season of this series takes place at Camp Shallow Lake for the total of two weeks. At the camp, the new Wildcats are rehearsing for the first camp production of Frozen.
The brand new trailer features returning actors, Joshua Bassett, Olivia Rodrigo, Sofia Wylie, Matt Cornett, Julia Lester, Dara Reneé and Frankie Rodriguez. This time, the Wildcats are back together for device-free, interesting summer. Even though the trailer doesn’t give too much about the season, it’s clear that fans will see EJ and Gina’s romance, Miss Jenn, Carlos, and Ricky bunking together, EJ stepping into the role of musical director, and more.
JoJo Siwa to Guest Star Alongside Disney Channel Alum in High School Musical: The Musical: The Series
Halfway through the trailer, fans noticed a familiar face, formerly known from Nickelodeon, JoJo Siwa. Her portion of the trailer includes her saying “What’s Up Wildcats? while holding hands with a camp counselor. Reportedly, the counselor is named Maddox, she’s seen taking the kids phones away at the beginning of the trailer. Since the trailer’s release it’s been revealed that she’s playing the role of Madison, a Camp Shallow Lake alum.
Guest starring in the series alongside Siwa are High School Musical alum Corbin Bleu as himself, Hannah Montana‘s Jason Earles as camp director Dewey Wood, Modern Family’s Jesse Tyler Ferguson as Marvin (a family friend of Nini), and Zombies’ Meg Donnelly as the camp counselor and choreographer Val.
