JoJo Siwa Addresses Inappropriate Card Game That Had Moms FURIOUS
Reading Time: 3 minutes
Singer Jojo Siwa pretty much has every product you can think of with her face or name on it. Fans were excited when they saw the former ‘Masked Singer’ contestant came out with a card game. They were shocked to find that the cards had inappropriate questions on them since the game said it was suitable for children ages 6 years old and up. The singer put out an apology after the scandal.
‘The Masked Singer’ Star JoJo Siwa Was Criticized For Inappropriate Board Game
One TikTok user was gifted a JoJo Siwa card game called “JoJo’s Juice” for Christmas. The person showed the camera some examples of the cards that came with the game. The questions read “Have you ever stolen from a store?” and “Have you ever walked in on someone naked?” Another question asked, “Have you ever been arrested?” Many of JoJo’s fans also posted pictures of some of the cards.

“I just wanna know, who on Jojo Siwa’s team thought that having a game with cards that say ‘have you learned the art of twerking’ and ‘who in the room do you want to date’ was a good idea?” asked one Twitter user.
Another Twitter user added “@Nickelodeon you should be ashamed of yourself with this @itsjojosiwa game. Stop this now!!”
It was clear that parents were angry that the questions were asking things not suitable for little kids. There were many theories as to how this game even got on the shelves in the first place. One theory is that Nickelodeon probably went through a third party to create the game. This was very clearly not something Jojo would’ve approved if it was run past her. The 17-year-old has a whole team of people that approve business deals. This may have just simply slipped by them.
She Posted An Apology And Said The Game Will Be Pulled From The Shelves
After seeing videos about the cardgame on TIkTok, JoJo took to social media to tell everyone that she was putting a stop to the production of the game. “Over the weekend, it has been brought to my attention by my fans and followers on TikTok that my name and my image have been used to promote this board game that has some really inappropriate content,” JoJo said in the Instagram video.
“When I first saw this, I was really, really, really upset at how gross these questions were, and so I brought it to Nickelodeon’s attention immediately and since then they have been working to get this game stopped being made and also pulled from all shelves wherever it’s being sold” she continued. “I hope you all know that I would have never ever, ever approved or agreed to be associated with this game if I would have seen these cards before they started selling it.”

The manufacturers of the game, Nickelodeon and Spin Master, put out a joint statement to CNN to further clarify that they are pulling the game off of the shelves. “We respect and value the relationship JoJo Siwa has with her fans and take the concerns raised regarding the game ‘JoJo’s Juice’ very seriously,” the statement says. “This game is no longer being manufactured and we have requested that retailers pull any remaining product from their shelves.”
