When an artist on The Voice gets compared to Beyoncé, you know they are probably one to watch in the competition. Gihanna Zoë has been giving the coaches Beyonce vibes since her performance of Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud” during The Battles. The live shows were no different for the California teen who once again drew the same comparisons.

Gihanna Zoë Gets Beyonce Comparisons From John Legend on ‘The Voice’

Tonight, Gihanna performed “Always Remember Us This Way” from A Star Is Born. She looked extremely glamorous in a silver suit and matching heeled boots. It was a performance full of raw emotions and was just overall beautiful.

“We’ve heard you compared to Beyoncé and today even more than ever, you were channeling the queen B. The bravado, the elite level of professionalism, is just beyond your years and so impressive” John Legend said.

This is the ultimate compliment for Gihanna to be compared to the 28-time Grammy winner. Much like Beyonce, Gihanna has been singing since she was a child. Not only is the 17-year-old a songwriter, but a scriptwriter as well.

“I was tearing up at the end. I always get excited, when you work with someone and they do things that I can’t do, I get changed by that and you do. It’s so effortless, a painful angel, it is perfect. I think you have the biggest voice on the show this year, and you are 17” Kelly Clarkson added about Gihanna’s performance tonight.

Nick Jonas turned heads when he first compared Gihanna to Beyoncé back during The Battles. He knew that she was a huge star in the making and clearly has been a fan of hers from the start.

“You shined in this performance…if I had closed my eyes I would’ve thought Beyoncé was here” he said.
