One of the most popular acts in the history of America’s Got Talent is without a doubt Darci Lynne Farmer. Not only did she win this year’s AGT but she’s gotten a huge following online. She even got to meet the governor of her home state of Oklahoma. So, it’s natural that some imitators would spring up. But Jimmy Fallon?
Of the late night hosts Jimmy Fallon is the most multi-talented. He can sing, dance, and just be generally adorable. What he cannot do is ventriloquism. That discipline is hard. How can you speak if you aren’t moving your lips? This is why Darci Lynne won the show, after all, because she wasn’t only speaking, she was belting out tunes. Poor Jimmy can’t seem to get it right. His guest, Miley Cyrus looks on in pity.
But keep at it, Jimmy. One day maybe you’ll suck less.
