Jennifer Lopez is returning to her hometown on September 25 to perform for Global Citizen Live. She will be performing in the benefit concert to help defend the planet and defeat poverty.

Jennifer Lopez shared a photo on Twitter, expressing her excitement for her upcoming Global Citizen performance. She also asked fans which of her songs they would like to see on her set list for the event.

J-Lo fans were very quick to reply, sharing their favorite song and their excitement about the event.

Who Else is Performing At The Global Broadcast?

For this upcoming benefit concert, Global Citizen Live announced that they will have a 24-hour global broadcast featuring performances and events taken around the world. Their celebrity list totals 32 performers for multiple different locations.

This concert will be for their initiate: a Recovery Plan for the World, which is based on COVID-19, ending the hunger crisis, resuming learning, protecting the planet, and advancing equity for all.

Lopez is the 33rd performer who has been announced for this benefit concert. She will be among Lizzo, DJ Snake, H.E.R., Green Day, Adam Lambert, The Lumineers, Christine and The Queens, Angélique Kidjo, and Femi Kuti to name a few. A full list of performers is on Global Citizen’s website.

This concert’s star-studded line up definitely won’t disappoint when it comes to getting an audience. They planned their concert well, ensuring that there is at least one artist for everyone at this event. I’m sure you’d be able to find someone on the list that you’d want to watch!

The event will air on ABC, ABC News Live, BBC, FX, iHeartRadio, Hulu, YouTube, Twitter, and more on September 25. The 24-hour concert will be live in Central Park in New York City, the Champ de Mars in Paris, with live crosses from London and Los Angeles.

Performances and hosted segments will also be from Lagos, Rio de Janeiro, Seoul, and Sydney. Their website says that location specific details including ticket sales will have announcements this month. On the other hand, I should probably include that there is currently no information about ticket sales on their website.
