Jennifer Lopez Cancels This Is Me… Now Tour Dates
Lopez’s upcoming North American tour was originally scheduled to run until August 30. However, seven of those tour dates between August 22 and August 30 have now been canceled, according to Ticketmaster.
Shows which were supposed to take place in Nashville, Raleigh, Atlanta, Tampa, and New Orleans are listed as canceled, while shows in Cleveland and Houston have disappeared from the site entirely. Lopez’s social media shared a new schedule on Wednesday, with the final date being August 17 in New York.
According to Variety, the cancellation notice reads, “Unfortunately, the Event Organizer has had to cancel your event. No action is required to obtain a refund.” No further explanation was given, but People reports that the cancellations were due to a logistical issue through the tour’s promoter.
The tour will kick off on June 26 in Orlando, with stops throughout the United States and Canada over the summer months. This is Lopez’s first North American tour in five years.

Does the Tour Have Low Ticket Sales?
On Thursday, Variety pointed out that a large number of tickets for Lopez’s tour appeared to still be unsold, with the available areas of the seating chart appearing much larger than the unavailable areas on most of the tour dates.
The album Lopez is promoting with the tour, This Is Me… Now, only debuted at No. 38 on the Billboard 200 chart. The project is a follow-up to the singer’s 2002 album This Is Me… Then. The new album was accompanied by an Amazon movie of the same name.
Lopez also released a documentary titled The Greatest Love Story Never Told, which chronicles her journey to create the album and movie. The entire project was self-financed by Lopez and reportedly cost $20 million.
