Jax Ties The Knot With Longtime Partner Brave Gregg in Emo-Themed Wedding

Tiktok star and former American Idol standout Jax Miskanic is now a married woman. The musician recently tied the knot with her fiancé Brave Gregg in a pop-punk Scottsdale wedding in front of 300 members of their family and friends.

The newlyweds kicked off the celebration last Friday night with a rehearsal dinner in Scottsdale, Arizona. Their official ceremony then began the next day, with Jax’s brother Matt, a retired U.S. Marine veteran, officiating the event.
“We were best friends first, accidental business partners in life and creative soulmates of each other,” she said ahead of the wedding day.
Sticking to the traditional vibe, Jax wore a white dress from family-owned business Everlasting Bridal. According to the musician, her bridal dress is a perfect combination of both of their families stitched into one.
“On my side of the family we’re very East Coast, where weddings and parties are sparkles, glitz and glam, Brooklyn and Jersey vibes,” she said. “For his family, they’re very West coast, Arizona, Los Angeles, so very vintage, more hippie type vibes. It’s almost like all of those things in one dress and it’s so simple and so beautiful.”
Walking down the aisle, Jax was accompanied by a medley of some of her favorite romantic pop-punk songs. At the altar, Jax and Gregg exchanged traditional, handwritten vows.
“I get to finally walk down the aisle with my best friend, the love of my life and spend the rest of my life with her,” Gregg said.
While the couple went traditional with the wedding ceremony, they decided to change the vibe of the reception up. Jax and Gregg designed a mid-2000’s pop-punk themed celebration.
“From the get-go we both wanted to throw an emo-themed reception, we’re both kids at heart, and that led to the decision to go with emo color and theme throughout the reception,” Gregg said.
With that, Jax changed into a black dress of the reception. They also asked their grandparents to wear guyliner. Furthermore, they invited some of their favorite bands to perform for the wedding family and guests.
She Says Gregg is Her “Stable Force” Through the Years
Of her husband, Jax has numerous kind words to say. According to the musician, their differences their loving relationship perfect.
“Brave is first and foremost my best friend before anything. He’s the Arizona warmth to my New York cold. The patience to my craziness, the calm to my storm,” she said. “He definitely grounds me. We’re polar opposite of each other and that’s how it works. He’s been my stable force over the last few years with everything going on.”
The two met during an industry party and music video shoot in which she was a part of. At the time, Gregg served as a member of the filming team.
“We were there at the shoot with our respective dates at the time,” she said. “We ended up going out to dinner at an old country bar later and that’s how it began.”
In January this year, the couple announced that Gregg had finally asked the question to the musician. In a joint post, the two shared a clip of how the romantic evening went.
“I told her she had an interview before the ball dropped, so I led her down to this hospitality suite that I set up with a thousand candles and rose petal everywhere,” he says. “I surprised her and asked her to marry me.”
