Jordan Fisher recently shared that he and his wife, Ellie Woods, are expecting their first baby, and it’s a boy! The childhood friends married in 2020, and couldn’t contain their joy in growing their family.
The couple shared a video in which we see Fisher’s wife putting a jacket on him while his eyes are closed. She tells him to reach in the pockets, and right away the Dancing With The Stars champion can feel the pregnancy test. Fisher cries and drops to the floor with excitement.
The couple’s embrace and pure joy is infectious enough that you cannot help but to be happy for the young pair. Later in the emotional video, the couple watches as their loved ones each bite into cupcakes. On the inside, the cupcakes are blue, indicating that the couple is having a boy.

The announcement comes on the heels of Fisher’s return to Broadway in the hit musical Dear Evan Hansen. The Broadway show premiered on December 11, and stars Fisher in the lead role once again.
Fisher and Woods, who is a clinical nutritionist, dated for four years and recently celebrated their one year wedding anniversary. The happy couple have known each other for over a decade.
“9 years of friendship…4 years of dating…1 year of marriage. I love you so much, Ellie Fisher. Thank you for being my person. Here’s to the next infinite years,” Fisher wrote in his anniversary post.
The post showed Jordan and Woods in a state of pure joy as they celebrated their wedding at the most magical place on earth. As fans poured in with replies under the sweet announcement video, Fisher can be seen replying non-stop to show how excited he is to welcome his new baby boy.
