Is ‘BGT’ Judge Amanda Holden Planning to Join ‘America’s Got Talent’?

According to a new report, Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden is planning to move to the United States and possibly join America’s Got Talent. Holden recently spent time in Los Angeles and even visited the AGT set.
Amanda Holden Planning Move to the United States?
According to a new report by The Sun, Holden is planning a move to the States and has even put her London home on the market. The longtime BGT judge has also apparently been meeting with producers in Los Angeles.
The Sun went on to report that Holden’s 17-year-old daughter Lexi has also been looking at American universities in LA, Boston, and New York. Recently, Holden and her 11-year-old daughter Hollie visited the set of AGT. Holden posed for a photo with judges Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara.
“Amanda is seriously contemplating a move to the States. It feels like the time is now,” a source told the outlet. “She spent the school hols in LA with the whole family, and had a wonderful time.”
Fellow Got Talent judge Simon Cowell and his fiancée Lauren Silverman have also apparently been encouraging Holden to “make the move, and enjoy the sunshine and blue skies permanently.”

Could Holden End Up Joining America’s Got Talent?
The Sun‘s source brought up Holden’s recent visit to the set of AGT, saying that the show’s producers “absolutely loved her.” Could she end up joining the American judging panel in the future?
“She fitted in really well; the dynamic with the three women worked, and producers traditionally always have a Brit on the panel,” the source shared. “Amanda’s had interest from a couple of top agents too, and it just feels like now could be the time to make the leap. Some exciting conversations are being had.”
It’s not clear if Holden would replace any of the four existing judges, or if she would remain on the BGT panel. Cowell currently juggles both the British and American versions of the show, so it’s not out of the question.
