‘Idol’ Winner Scotty McCreery says I do

Season 10 American Idol winner Scotty McCreery said I do, and sealed his forever to his high school sweetheart Gabi Dugal, in June.
The ceremony took place in North Carolina’s Blue Ridge mountains, a location that holds significance for both, said McCreery. “It’s where we go to hike. It’s where we go to just get away from everything. So, it’s where we wanted to get married.”
Prior to the newlyweds engagement, McCreery wrote a song to which he performed at the wedding titled, This Is It. Shortly after their special day, McCreery released the music video for his new single. In the montage, fans get to feel like guests attending the wedding. McCreery used actual footage of the festivities that took place, and we couldn’t help but get a little choked up.
Fans get a glimpse into McCreery’s playful relationship with his father-in-law and most importantly the loving bond between he and his stunning bride. I’m just wondering if I can do a re-do of my wedding day? Because the doting couple definitely had one of the best ceremonies to date.
“We just wanted to share our special day with everybody because [we] couldn’t invite everybody-all the fans and everything-but wanted to share it with them,” McCreery said.
McCreery is literally on cloud 9 after gushing, “Married Life is Awesome!”
The good news doesn’t stop there…McCreery will also be taking the US by storm and going on tour to promote his new LP Seasons Change. McCreery is proud of this album, because he wrote each track, and gave fans something they could really connect to. Now that he has a rock to hold him down (Dugal), there’s no telling where McCreery will go from here!
